I have some exciting news!! I heard back from the Mayor of Leominster, MA, Dean Mazzarella!! I have a conference call scheduled with him and his Economic Dev. person, Lisa. I am so very excited to finally get to talk to them. They seem excited about Pink Flamingo Day as well. After all, Mr. Mazzarella declared it in honor of Don Featherstone, the creator of the Plastic Pink Flamingo!!
Only seven days left, I am so excited!! I have been hearing from people all over the US and Canada, and we even have Chris in Iraq (we donated flamingos to his military camp) who is going to set out his little pink friends!!
1 more week!!!
